A recent sample of fresh fruit of the rare Bangladeshi Naga Morich chilli was tested by Warwick University using HPLC and registered a tongue numbing 1,598,227 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). These original Naga Morich seeds have not been grown by gardeners at home, these are the genuine Naga Morich.

We have recently completed trials germinating a selection of our very hot chilli seeds including Naga Morich, Bhut Jolokia and Bih Jolokia.  We grew a tray with seeds soaked in our germination solution and a tray without and found a 50% increase in germination success rate.  Chilli seeds can be hard to germinate at the best of times, our germination solution is available to help you get the best from germinating your seeds.
