The jewel like pods of BBG MAMP Black Pepper are a gorgeous addition to your chilli patch. This pepper created by Enrico Lai originates from Italy and is a cross between BBG 7 pot and the Pimenta da Neyde pepper from Brazil. As with all BBG peppers you’re treated to a bleeding red/black calyx that looks stunning against the foliage and deep black pod. The fruit starts out black then ripens to a mottled red/black combination that gives its jewel like appearance. The peppers have a depth of flavour, with a very medium to hot heat . A beautiful plant.
