This is a strain of White Bhut Jolokia that was developed by Jay Weaver of Eastern Pennsylvania. Other White Bhut Jolokia are smooth skinned in appearance and not rough and pimply like Weaver’s strain. The White Bhut Jolokia has a nice Ghost heat level with citrus tones. It ripens from green to creamy white. It will get light yellow if over ripened just like other white Capsicum chinense types. This pepper is ideal for making a sauce or salsa! Would be great in a fruit based salsa. The White Bhut Jolokia chile plants grow 3-4 feet tall. (Capsicum chinense)
